Falmouth & Surrounds
The secluded seaside hamlet of Falmouth on Tasmania's Surf Coast is bounded by cliffs to the north east, sandy beaches to the north and south, and private rocky coves looking out across the Tasman sea.
It is possible to walk along much of the coastline bounding Falmouth, where you may take in the beauty of blowhole formations and lichen-covered granite outcrops, beaches covered in seashells, and breathtaking views of the ocean and coastline. Steels beach, to the north of Falmouth, boasts clean white sand and surf breaks, whilst the renowned Cattle Grids break is just a 5 minute drive south at Four Mile Creek beach. The nearest towns are Scamander to the north, and St Marys to the south-west, both around 10-15 min drive from Falmouth. |
